Here’s the 11th lick from my “WeeklyckZ” series, which is a two chord arpeggio lick on Gm and Gdim chords.
Enjoy, subscribe and share! 🙂
This week it’s time for this sort of “anniversary” lick – number 10, and because I’ve been asked to do an extended range guitar lick, I did this 8-string tapping arpeggio on Cmaj9#11 chord. So, from now on, every 10th lick will be either for 7 or 8 strings, unless you need such things more often – if so, feel free to write me!
Enjoy, subscribe and share! 🙂
After months of hearing my friends humming some melodies of my track “The Seducer’s Diary”, I decided, that this should be the first piece from the album to have a music video, so I and the director Boris Katzounov started discussing some ideas about the video. I had the idea, that there should be a storyline – a symbolic and metaphoric one, which had to reproduce what I felt, when reading the Kirkekaard’s book, but re-created nowadays – this task was wonderfully performed by Boris Katzounov, the cameraman Vladimir Bichev and the actors – Victoria Ivanova and Hristo Gebrev.
To avoid the monotonous storytelling, which wouldn’t correspond with the music’s dynamics, I thought it is best to rely on the classical approach to use black & white shots of a band playing, which gave the music video the dynamics needed, also the feel of a soundtrack from a movie, which was the main goal – thanks to the video editor Nikolina Atanasova. Because of the tough schedule of all the people, involved in the video, we had only about 3 hours of shooting, but we did it in time, so I am very grateful to all the crew, who supported this video clip and made it happen – big thanks to all of you!
So, here is the video, so enjoy and share!
Well, my debut album “9 Stories” is officially out and you can find it on the link below.
All I can say is, that this projects was a really hard task to perform, a 9-month musical adventure, where I had to compose, play and record every single instrument, which left me with almost no powers at the end. Luckily, I had the strenght to mix and master this epic (for me) production, so now you can enjoy it and eventually buy it, which would be great support to me, because I have no manager, no label and stuff and I am doing everything on my own.
Thanks in advance!
Here’s the link to my album in iTunes: 9 Stories
I decided to make a new section with interviews, because it would be easier to navigate and I guess such section will be interesting for you, because this will give you the opportunity to see more of me, beside the music and know me better as a person, so enjoy the first one, I am posting here: 1st Shot Music
Hello, friends, fans or random passing strangers! 🙂 After the success of my #audio #sample, that I did last week of my track “A Perfect Day For Bananafish”, I decided to do and a #video #playthrough of another part of the track, because it is long and complicated enough to show it in just a one minute sample, so here you can see one more interesting fragment of the track, which… ok… I will share a little secret to you – it will be the opening track in my #upcoming #debut #solo #album “9 Stories”, so if you follow my topics here and my #facebook #page here, you’re now a little bit more familiar with the album background, tracks, etc. Also, I want to share with you, that in October, my album #9Stories will be available for #online #purchase, so stay in tune by visiting this site or my official facebook page. Ok, enough annoying talk – below is the video, so if you like it, subscribe, share and support me however you wish 🙂
Finally I pushed myself to make something visual with this track, called “The Seducer’s Diary”, which will be a part of my #debut #solo #album “9 Stories”, because it became something like a hit – many of my friends told me they had some melodies from this track stuck in their minds, so it would be a shame not to do anything about it.
So, I took my phone, put it on some DIY by me stand and started shooting different plans of me playing… I really became mad, because I had to do several different jobs for making this video because finally, I was not only guitar player but a cameraman, director and video editor 😀
It took me very much time because actually I am not familiar with shooting, directing or editing and I had to learn all these things during the process. In fact, when I uploaded my video to YouTube, I was nicely surprised, that it gained five times more views than my other videos, so I suppose I already have new, higher goals to achieve from now on 😀
Well… I stop with the bullsh*it and will provide you with the video, so enjoy it, share it and support me in every other way, if you like my work 🙂
